Places are still available on the Healthy Bee Day on Saturday 18th May 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at Norton Priory, Tudor Road, Runcorn, WA7 1SX.
A full day of activities with the National Bee Unit Northern inspection team focused on Bee Health. The day will include presentations and workshops including: Foul brood and brood disease recognition in the comb, Practical inspection techniques for foul brood and small hive beetle, Varroa, and Asian hornet.
The day is ideal for new beekeepers, those who have not attended an event like this before or anyone wanting a refresher and to remain up to date with bee health and disease recognition.
